Currents, 2010

Currents, installed in an old mill in Housatonic, MA, was inspired by the natural resources and history of the site. This installation consisted of 4 separate rooms, each creating a scenario evoking allusions to “currents” such as water, body and electric currents. A portion of this building had burned down several years earlier. This fire had a powerful effect on the residents of the town and this history was also part of the installation.
